Last weekend we took the boys out of school and spent four days reconnecting as a family post deployment. We went down to the Williamsburg area to not only do some sight seeing but to head to the Great Wolf Lodge with the boys. Our first stop was the Jamestown Settlement for poor Nick who was supposed to see it last month on a field trip but got sent home after he got car sick. The boys really loved the settlement. Aidan of course loved the firing of real guns and going on the big ships and convincing Daddy to buy him yet another gun. Nick really enjoyed sharing all the Colonial history with us that he has learned in VA history class this year. It really is a gorgeous picturesque harbor surrounded by a beautiful landscape.
